Description
This building, located at 51 High Street Inferior, is a shop with living accommodation above. It stands three storeys tall plus an attic and is constructed of painted brick. The front features a single-window design with a hipped attic dormer, which is flanked by pilasters and topped with a shaped parapet that includes a Greek key band. There is a two-storey splayed oriel window on the second and first floors, adorned with bands of dogtooth decoration below. The shopfront has been altered and includes doorways at each end.
The rear elevation, facing Church Lane, is made of exposed stone with yellow brick dressings. It has a two-window front with horned sash windows. On the ground floor, there are notable 19th-century iron railings, and there are doorways at each end.
