Description
The Brecon and Merthyr Railway bridge, located beside Ponsticill Reservoir, is a former railway bridge that spans a track. It is constructed from snecked rockfaced stone and features rockfaced voussoirs that form a continuous semi-circular archway, which rises directly from the ground without any imposts. The bridge has a narrow flat coping and angled abutments, which also include coping. Beneath the bridge, there is a roadway that runs through a tunnel.
