Description

The lofted stable at Green Meadow is a 19th-century structure built from rubble stone and topped with a corrugated iron roof. It appears to have originally been longer but has been truncated at the right end. The front features two square loft lights positioned above a ground floor door, which is flanked by two windows on the left, indicating a former stable use, and two doors on the right. The building includes stone voussoirs and has a blank left end wall.

Inside, it is said to have four pegged oak trusses that are tied at the eaves, with pegged tusk tenoned staggered purlins.
