Description

The Pencader War Memorial is situated on a stepped concrete and Portland stone plinth, with the top step serving as the base of the original memorial and featuring the maker's inscription. The memorial has a tapering square polished red-granite base that includes inscriptions in gold letters honoring those who fell in the 1914-18 and 1939-45 wars. Above this is a Portland stone base that supports the statue of an infantryman.
