Description
Cwm-eilath Farmhouse is a farmhouse constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and features a corrugated-iron roof, which was originally thatched. It has a large square whitewashed rubble chimney stack with dripstones located on the left side. The building is two storeys high and has two pairs of casement windows on the first floor, positioned to the left and center. On the ground floor, there is a 6-pane sash window from the late 19th century to the left, a half-glazed door slightly left of the center window above, and another 6-pane sash window to the right, which is set at a higher level. The farmhouse has a small forecourt that is enclosed by rubble walls. It is built into a slope at the eastern end and features a loft door that is accessed by stone steps at the gable end. There is a small lean-to attached to the front wall of the house on the left side. The rear of the farmhouse has a small center window with a timber lintel and a 20th-century window added to the right.
Adjacent to the farmhouse is a single-storey cow-house that has a corrugated iron roof. It includes two small windows and a central door, with the left window set lower than the right, all featuring cambered painted brick heads. The cow-house has 20th-century windows and door, and the rear has three 20th-century windows.
