Description
Plas Alltyferin is a 3-storey, 3-bay Georgian style house, with an additional 2 bays to the right that are 2 storeys and an attic, making them lower than the main range. The walls are made of rendered stone, topped with a slate roof and roughcast stacks. The central entrance features a panelled door set within a portico supported by two cast iron Tuscan columns. The windows are 12-pane horned sashes, positioned under cambered heads. On the right side, there are two similar but smaller windows in the upper storey, two round-headed half dormers with small-pane sashes, and half-glazed double doors in the lower storey.
The left gable end has a two-window arrangement with French doors in the lower right, half-glazed double doors in the lower left, and first-floor horned sashes, with 12 panes on the right and 9 panes on the left. The right gable end features 4-pane sash windows, including attic windows, except for a lower right 2-light casement window. Further to the right is a lower single-storey rear wing that connects with the gable end, which has three 4-pane sash windows and inserted garage doors on the gable end. The opposite side wall, facing the main house, has a pentice supported by cast iron columns leading to a split boarded back door. The main house has a three-window facade, which is 2-storey at the rear, with 4-pane horned sash windows; the upper right-hand window is set back above a lean-to roof where a former wing has been removed. The property has not been inspected.
