Description

Ty Llandre is a 1½-storey house dating from the late 19th century. It is built of rubble stone with a roughcast front, topped by a steep corrugated iron roof. The house has a roughcast gable stack on the right and an end stack on the left. Both stacks have a dripstone, suggesting that the roof was originally thatched. The windows are also from the late 19th century and include a central boarded front door flanked by unequally placed four-pane sash windows. A gable above the right-hand window contains a small, replacement attic window. A blocked doorway with a wooden lintel, located to the left of the right-hand stack, shows evidence of a former attachment to a now-demolished range. The left gable end is stepped back on the left side of the stack and incorporates a small window lower to the right, above which is a four-pane attic sash window. The building has not been inspected internally.
