Description
Caegwyn is a farmhouse built from rubble stone with grey limestone dressings, featuring a slate roof that has deeply overhanging eaves, wave-edged bargeboards, and red brick end stacks. The building has flush limestone quoins and is two stories tall with a three-window range of 12-pane hornless sashes, which are larger on the ground floor. The windows have cut limestone on their sides, cambered heads, and stone sills. The center of the facade features a 4-panel door with a similar head, set in a steep-roofed gabled porch that has a slate roof, painted wave-edged bargeboards, and a finial. The porch structure has been rebuilt in the 20th century using red brick and includes metal side windows.
The right end wall has a rendered gable with two 4-pane sliding sash loft lights, while the left end wall is roughcast. The rear of the building has a similar two-story elevation, with 12-pane sashes above and a 6-pane window to the left on the ground floor, alongside a cross-mullioned window that was part of a former dairy to the right. The property has not been inspected.
