Description
The Blue Bell is an inn located in a terrace row, built in the 19th century. It has two storeys and three irregular bays. The roof is slate with gabled ends, featuring large chimney stacks clad in roughcast on both the left and right sides. The building has deep eaves and a painted roughcast facade, which includes a stucco moulded plinth and impost string courses on both floors. Moulded depressed arch hoods spring from these string courses above all openings. The windows are cambered-headed, four-pane horned sashes, with three on the first floor and two outer ones on the ground floor that are regularly aligned. The ground floor center features a window and door that are neither aligned with nor symmetrically spaced concerning the window above. The entrance includes a four-panel door with a plain overlight and a cambered head that matches the windows. The name 'Blue Bell' is displayed in raised capital letters on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
