Description
This building, known as 3 Velindre, is a house constructed of painted stucco or roughcast. It is the end section of a single house that has been divided into three separate homes, numbered 1 to 3 Felindre. The structure is a two-storey, terrace-like range with nine bays, arranged in a 2-3-4 configuration, meaning No 1 has 2 bays, No 2 has 3 bays, and No 3 has 4 bays. The roofs are covered with slate.
No 1 features a wing with a canted end that extends east from the rear north end. Each section has end chimneys; No 1 has yellow and black brick chimneys from the late 19th century, while No 3 has red brick chimneys from the 20th century, with No 2 sharing stacks with No 1.
On the first floor, there are nine 16-pane sash windows running the length of the building. The third window of No 2 is notably lower and set in a wider bay, indicating a division between the main house and the service range. No 3 has four 16-pane sashes above a variety of openings below. The lower section includes a small 12-pane sash window to the left, a large square 20-pane sash window that was previously used to light the kitchen, a 20th-century door with an overlight, and another 12-pane sash window.
There is a 20th-century lean-to on the right end wall, which features an original small 6-pane window above to the left and a boxed-out window to the right with a sloping roof, positioned at the angle of the lower two-storey rear wing. This rear wing has two upper windows and a door located between the two windows, which are not aligned.
The interior of the building has not been inspected.
