Description
Castle Green is originally a pair of dwellings built from rubble stone, featuring a slate roof and roughcast stacks. The main house on the right has three windows and an entrance that is enclosed by a low walled forecourt with iron railings. In the lower storey, the openings have keyed segmental stone heads with drip moulds. The central doorway is fitted with a half-glazed door. The windows are 12-pane hornless sashes located beneath the eaves in the upper storey. The second house on the left has a single window and features a cambered stone head above a boarded door on the right. The lower storey has a 4-pane window with a brick segmental head, and a 12-pane hornless sash window beneath the eaves. The gable ends are pebble-dashed, with the left-hand side featuring a half-lit door on the left.
