Description
The building is a former malthouse and bakery attached to Kingston Farmhouse, dating from an unspecified period. It is located to the west of the farmhouse and is currently in a ruinous state, consisting of two storeys. The structure is made of rubble masonry, featuring larger stones at the corners. The roof is slated but has collapsed.
There is a door on the left side, and the upper window is centrally located, while the lower window is positioned to the right. A later farmyard wall is built between the door and the lower window. The upper window has been blocked with stone, and both windows have brick flat arches and slate sills. The upper floor has also collapsed. The site of the malting kiln is believed to be at the rear left corner of the room. Additionally, the chimney, which includes a wide fireplace and a baking oven, is built into the west gable wall.
