Description
The stable block at the Old Rectory is a lofted stable range that includes an attached garage. It is constructed from rubble stone and features close-eaved slate roofs with red tile ridges. On the first floor, there are paired casements on each side of an off-centre ledged loft door, which is accessed via an external stone stair. This stair is arched underneath, providing access to a ground floor ledged door. To the right, there is a 12-pane sash window with a red brick head, and closely adjoining it is a low ledged door. The left gable end has a 20th-century inserted triple casement, while the right gable end features a small loft light above the roof of the attached single-storey garage, which has a slate close-eaved roof and double timber doors.
