Description

Alltyrheini is a small country house dating from the earlier and later 19th century. The front is stuccoed and has a slate roof with three stone chimney stacks. It is arranged as a two-storey, five-window front, with bracketed eaves and moulded architraves to the windows. The original part of the house is the three-window range to the left, which may have been reroofed and with the entrance repositioned when the rest of the house was added. It generally features 12-pane sashes, although the fourth bay has a late 19th century, two-storey canted bay window with plate glass sashes. The third bay has a 6-panel door with a fanlight, set within a late 19th century stuccoed porch, with a slate-refaced arch.

At the rear of the older part, a pointed stair-light with cut-stone voussoirs (now a door) is visible at landing level, along with two 12-pane sashes that break the eaves under dormer gables, and a smaller 6-pane window under the eaves. A 12-pane first floor sash, also with stone voussoirs, is situated to the right. An added rear wing includes basement and first-floor windows with stone voussoirs, and a casement window above. A large rear wing itself has a two-window range of 12-pane sashes to the attic and first floor, with three to the ground floor, all featuring stone voussoirs and keystones. A stone stack is situated on the east side wall. The east gable of the main range includes two attic 12-pane windows, one first floor window and a ground floor door with a 6-panel fielded lower section and a traceried overlight. A conservatory has been added in the 20th century.

The interior features a half-glazed inner door with fanlight, stick baluster stairs, and 6-panel doors. A southwest room has a reeded ceiling border with corner rosettes.
