Description
North Lodge is a two-storey building constructed of stucco, which was formerly roughcast, and features a slate roof that was once grouted slate. The front has three windows and canted ends, with a hipped and canted roof that includes a timber modillion eaves cornice. There are rendered brick end stacks. The building showcases Gothick-style pointed sash windows, with the ground floor window having one longer pane, and a central door topped by a pointed blank tympanum, which is obscured by a 20th-century gabled porch. Similar windows are present on the diagonal walls facing the drive at the southwest and northwest ends. There is a 20th-century flat-roofed single-storey addition on the north side and a large two-storey rear wing, also from the 20th century but possibly built on an earlier base. The interior has been altered during renovation.
