Description

This is a cottage located at 23 Glyn-y-Mel Road, constructed from whitewashed rubble and featuring a slate roof that was formerly grouted. The end stacks are rendered, and the eaves and ridge are lower than those of the adjacent No 21 on the left. The cottage is one and a half storeys tall and has a double fronted design with 2-4 pane sash windows on each floor. The upper windows break the eaves beneath broad low gables that have decorative bargeboards. The ground floor openings are adorned with brick voussoirs and drip moulds, while the central doorway features a half-glazed 20th-century door.
