Description
The stables and loft at Llawhaden House are a small stable range with a simple architectural style, aligned north to south and facing west towards the yard. They are built of rubble masonry, with render on the south gable and remnants of old render on most of the west face. The building has a slate roof. Access to the loft is provided by an external staircase and a door in a semi-dormer. The west face features one twelve-pane sash window, boarded doors, and ventilation tubes in the wall beneath the loft floor.
Inside, the loft floor is made of semi-converted timber beams. The roof consists of seven bays supported by common collar-beam trusses.
