Description
The granary and waggon house at Llawhaden House is a building oriented east to west on the north side of the stable yard. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stonework, featuring larger selected stones at the corners. The south face, which faces the house, shows remnants of render and whitewash. The roof is made of slate, with thin plain barge-boards and tile ridges.
On the west gable, there are tall waggon-shed doors with a semi-elliptical arch, facing the farmyard. Above these doors, in the loft storey, there is a domestic-style casement window also facing west. The south wall has two doors, one of which includes ventilation slots.
An animal pen is located at the east gable.
