Description

This is a terraced house built around 1850-1860. It features dry-dash cladding that has replaced the original stucco, a slate roof, and a stone stack at the north end. The house has a basement and two storeys, with a two-window range of 4-pane sash windows and a thin sill band on the first floor. To the left, there is an arch-headed door with a 20th-century door and a plain fanlight, all set within a fine timber doorcase that has a pediment with triglyphs on the entablature. Access to the door is via three steps. The basement area is enclosed by fancy wrought and cast iron railings, with slate steps leading down to a ledged basement door and a 12-pane sash window.
