Description

This is a small cottage, likely dating to the 18th century, with roughcast exterior walls and a cemented slate roof. It has end wall stacks; a small, 20th-century stack is on the left end and a larger, external chimneybreast is on the right. The cottage is one and a half storeys tall and double-fronted. A 19th or early 20th-century red brick gabled porch has been added to the centre of the front, featuring slate roofing, raised angle piers, and raised surrounds to Gothic pointed windows on the side walls. The windows are horned 4-pane sashes, with two windows on each floor. The upper windows break the eaves under small, cemented cat-slide roofs. The front gable above the double-boarded doors has modern boarding. A lean-to has been added to the rear left, and there is a modern, single-storey addition to the left side, featuring a door between 4-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
