Description
Plain Dealings is a small house built in the mid-19th century, constructed from squared rubble stone with a slate roof and stone end stacks, the one on the south being larger. The house has two storeys and a double fronted design, featuring smaller 9-pane sash windows above and 12-pane sash windows below, all without horns and set on slate sills. The centre door is complemented by a C20 half glazed door. The door and lower windows have cambered heads with stone voussoirs.
To the left, there is a low rendered single storey building with an end stack, two windows, and a centre door. To the right, there is a rebuilt single storey stone range. Inside, the house features a large fireplace with a timber lintel at the southern end. The garden is enclosed by rubble walls and includes an iron gate.
