Description
Brithdir Mawr is a large farmhouse built from rubble stone, with the front rendered and slate roofs featuring end wall stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-window front, characterized by paired brackets at the eaves and 16-pane sash windows with slate sills. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door topped by a lozenge-pattern overlight. The east end wall is windowless, while the west end has a 12-pane sash window on the ground floor. A large northwest rear wing includes a long arched stair light with intersecting tracery at the top, and to the right, there is a two-window range with two 12-pane sashes above. Below, there is one 16-pane sash and a door. The north end features a stone stack, and there is an outshut to the east. In front of the rear wing, there is a walled garden. The condition of the farmhouse was noted as poor in 1992.
