Description
The Ivy is an early 19th-century single-storey cottage built from coursed blue lias stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring whitewashed end stacks, which are larger on the left side. The front of the cottage is offset and includes two 4-pane sash windows with a door situated between them, all framed by stone voussoirs and slate sills. There is a loft window on the whitewashed east end wall, and a lean-to has been added to the west end. The rear of the cottage is whitewashed and has no windows. Inside, there is a large fireplace at the west end, which has a timber lintel.
