Description
Hatherley is a pair of houses that have been combined into one. The exterior is finished in white-painted roughcast with slate roofs and brick stacks at each end. The left side of the building is two storeys high and has two bays, with the entrance offset to the right. It features a close-eaved roof and two 4-pane sash windows on the first floor situated under the eaves. On the ground floor, there is a large hornless 16-pane sash window to the left of centre, which is protected by an iron window guard. To the right, there is an arched door with a plain fanlight above it.
The right side of the building has a lower ridge and eaves. It is one storey and has an attic, with a double front. This side features two upper 4-pane sash windows that break the eaves under the gables, along with three ground floor 4-pane sashes, all of which have iron window guards. The centre window on this side may have originally been a door.
