Description

Park Village Cross is a village cross located in a field next to Park House. It features a three-step limestone base that measures approximately 3.3 meters square. The cross has likely undergone significant restoration, as it is an object of interest visible from Park House.

The top stone of the cross is still present, lying nearby. It has a broadly chamfered section, and the head of the cross is shaped to a gable point.

This structure is listed as a medieval fragment and is the last remaining marker of the original position of Stackpole village, which was removed around 1800 for landscape improvements by Lord Cawdor.
