Description

This is a two-storey building with a ground-floor shop, dating from the 18th century. The front of the building is rendered and unpainted, and rises four stories high. It has a slightly projecting parapet and a slate gabled roof, with a red brick chimney on the right side. There are two horned plate glass sash windows on the third floor. A two-story, central oriel window extends outwards on the main floors. The second-floor oriel has a 20th-century cornice and glazing. The first floor has moulded cornices and sash windows with small-paned upper sashes. Originally, the windows were 8-pane, 12-pane, 8-pane sashes. A ground-floor shop front is present, with a house door to the left. The house door is six-panelled and has an overlight. The shop itself is of 20th-century construction, featuring a recessed central entry. The front of the shop is framed by three stucco pilasters, with a plain fascia and a cornice that continues around the base of the oriel.
