Description

The Reading Room is a single-storey building that has been converted from a former house. It features colourwashed render and roughcast with an asbestos sheet roof. The building is double-fronted, with the facade rendered up to the height of the door heads and window sills, while the upper part is roughcast. The central entrance has a cambered-headed six-panel door, flanked by two large windows set high, each containing six panes. The eastern end wall is constructed of render and rubble stone. Inside, there is a single room with a boarded ceiling.
