Description

This is a well-preserved circular lime-kiln made of rubble stone, likely built in the early 19th century. It is situated on the side of a bank and represents the typical Dewisland type, featuring opposed kiln eyes. The upper parts of the kiln slope inward to stone slab lintels. There are curving outside steps on the north side leading up to a flat top that has an infilled crucible.
