Description

This is a red painted cast-iron telephone kiosk with a shallow domed roof of Soaneian design, featuring embossed George VI crowns in the lunette on each side. The kiosk has red-lettered semi-transparent panels and ventilation slits below the crowns. The sides are adorned with raised surrounds that contain horizontal glass panels with margin lights, which are also present on the door. It stands on a raised plinth and has a blank rear side that includes a foundry plate.
