Description

The bandstand in Victoria Gardens is a Grade II listed structure made of cast iron and sheet metal, set on a yellow-brick and slate base. It is small in scale and octagonal in shape, featuring three steps leading up on the east side. The bandstand is supported by eight slender cast iron columns that hold ornate scrolled spandrel brackets, along with a mid-height cast-iron handrail above sheet-metal panels. The roof is an overhanging sheet-metal tent design, complete with rolled-lead ridges and an ornate cast iron finial at the top.
