Description
Plas Llanina is a small country house built of rubble stone, featuring some slate hanging and slate roofs. It stands two storeys high and originally had a T-shaped plan with a 17th century core, 18th century interior details, and a 19th century addition at the eastern end. Much of the interior was lost during years of dereliction, and what has been rebuilt includes two sections of the eastern range, with one possibly dating from the 17th or early 18th century and the other likely from the 19th century. Both sections have a stone chimney stack on the eastern side and small-paned sash windows. The earlier part has a two-storey, two-window front facing the churchyard, with an additional one-window section and a door to the right that remains derelict. To the left is a slightly lower eastern end section, probably from the 19th century, which is also derelict and largely collapsed. This section has one gable at the northern end and a collapsed western side, featuring a large chimney on the southern return. Projecting to the south are two gables, with the one on the right partly slate-hung.
