Description
This building is a cottage located behind Morris Cottages, dating from the 19th century. It is two stories high and constructed of rubble stone. The front features windows arranged in reflected pairs, with No. 5 being whitewashed. The roofs are covered with slate, and there are three chimney stacks that have been rendered and cut down.
The cottages Nos. 1, 2, and 4 have nine and twelve-pane sash windows, while No. 3 has small pane metal frame casements. No. 5 has been modernized, and No. 6 features nine and four-pane sash windows below slate lintels. The doors are boarded for Nos. 1, 2, and 4, with No. 1 having a four-pane overlight. No. 3 has a four-panel door, No. 5 has a modern door, and No. 6 has a half-glazed door.
At the rear, there is a low rubble wall with a blocked central door. The building was unoccupied at the time of inspection in September 1989.
