Description
The Old New Inn is a three-storey public house built from local brick, which has been painted, and features a slate roof with rectangular end chimneys made of red brick. The right gable end is rendered. The second floor has three broadly proportioned windows located at the eaves, each with six-pane hornless sash glazing and heavy stone sills. On the first floor, there are three twelve-pane sash windows with heavy stone sills; the central window has a horned sash, which appears as a dummy in old photographs, while the outer windows are hornless. The ground floor includes a central square-headed doorway with a doorcase that has a cornice and panelled returns, leading to a six-panelled door with a rectangular overlight. Flanking the doorway are two twelve-paned hornless sash windows.
