Description
Green Square is a pair of houses built from rubble with a half-hipped slate roof and a central brick chimney that has three stacks. The buildings are two storeys plus an attic and feature two windows on the front, with doors located at each end. The first-floor windows are set deeply below the eaves and have broad camber heads with multi-pane glazing. The ground-floor windows are similar but larger; the left house has a camber-headed doorway with an original boarded door, while the right house has a square-headed doorway with a modern door.
On the right gable elevation, there is a camber-headed window at the attic level. The left gable elevation also features a camber-headed window at the attic level, along with a section in red brick that indicates the former presence of a chimney. The rear elevation, which faces the church, has two camber-headed windows on the first floor and a single taller camber-headed window on the ground floor for each house, all with multi-pane glazing.
