Description
Moydog-fach is a 17th-century building that features a variation of a standard plan. It includes a living hall with a lobby entry and a gable stack. The structure is built of rubble and topped with a slate roof. The windows, which were added around 1940, are paned and fit into earlier openings, and there is a timber boarded door. The semi-attic floor is illuminated by three small gabled dormers. A brick stack is also present. At the rear, there is a stone lean-to storeroom that has been added but is now roofless.
Inside, the living room boasts a large gable fireplace equipped with an iron range and a side oven. There are two parallel chamfered spine beams with ogee stops. The inner rooms in the eastern end bay are separated by a post and panel partition, creating a long room at the front. This room has a door leading to a rear lobby that provides access to a smaller end room and a newel stair leading to the first floor. The roof features tie and collar beam trusses with queen struts.
