Description
This is a three-window house with attached farm buildings, likely dating from the 18th century. The original house is constructed of rubble stone, with a later brick wing attached to the left. Both sections are whitewashed and have a slate roof, with a brick ridge stack located to the left of centre on the original house. The windows are wooden casements with small panes of glass. The lower-floor window openings have segmental brick arches. Brick gabled half-dormers are present in the upper storey, with the left-hand window boarded over. The front door is located to the right of centre and is a late 20th-century part-glazed wooden door. Flanking windows and the third window belong to the added left wing. The rear of the house, partially visible, has roughcast stonework on the left and a small uPVC window on the upper storey. A small corrugated lean-to is located to the right of centre, and a gabled dormer is present on the right.
A weather-boarded farm range adjoins the right side of the house. This range has corrugated metal or asbestos sheet roofs. The range connected to the house features a doorway on the left, likely a former stable, and a first-floor door leading to a hayloft or granary. A cart bay is located at the right end. A lofted range, with a door offset slightly to the right of centre, adjoins the cart bay and may have been a barn. The rear elevations of the farm buildings are not visible. The interior of the house was not inspected during a recent survey.
