Description
Bryn Ieuau is an L-shaped house dating from the 18th century. It features a symmetrical two-storey front with three windows and a rear wing that has one storey and an attic. The building is rendered and covered with slate roofs, which include rendered end stacks for both the main range and the rear wing.
The front of the house has a central half-glazed panelled door, flanked by horned six-over-six-pane sash windows. There are similar windows above, all with flat heads. The western gable end is primarily slate hung, while the eastern gable end has a small 20th-century window offset to the right in the upper storey.
To the right is the eastern side of the rear wing, which contains a granary in the attic storey. This is accessed by a large external stone staircase that leads to a planked door beneath a half-dormer. On the ground floor, there is a late 20th-century wooden door to the left, with windows in a similar style to the centre and right. The western side of the wing has a 20th-century window. The rear of the house is not visible.
Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
