Description
Abernefal is a symmetrical two-window house that is one-and-a-half storeys high and was originally oriented to the south. It is built from white-washed rubble stone and features a slate roof with a stone stack on the left end. There is an added rear outshut. The central wooden door has a small light above it and is flanked by two-light multi-pane casement windows. These openings are topped with shallow segmental stone heads.
On the upper storey, there are two gabled half-dormers, each with similar casement windows. A small light is located under the eaves at the center. The west end of the outshut includes a two-light casement window with plain glazing, set under a flat head. There are also skylights on the rear of the lean-to.
At the northeast corner of the house, there is a gabled porch with a roof line that runs parallel to the house. The current entrance is through a planked door on the north side of the porch. Additionally, there is a second planked door leading into the east end of the outshut, both of which are sheltered by a late 20th-century canopy.
Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
