Description
This is a triangular fronted pillar made of compact sandstone, built around 1790. It features incised lettering that has been roughly overpainted in black. The left face reads "NEWT / 7," while the right face reads "MACH / 21." The different faces suggest that the milestone has been moved from the other side of the road.
