Description

This milestone is a rectangular sandstone upright with a rounded top. Attached to the front face is a cast iron plate, also with a rounded head, which is painted white but is now rusting. The plate has a black rim. Below the plate, there is a small square recess that may have once held a benchmark. The plate features letters in relief that read:
