Description
Bronhyddon is a two-storey house with three windows, rendered and painted white, featuring a slate roof and red brick chimneys. The roof of the rear wing is slightly stepped down.
The house's notable feature is its symmetrical Regency south front, which has been largely restored by the current owner. This front includes a central Doric porch, flanked by three-light windows that sit under shell tympanum arches. There is a verandah with a timber lower stage that resembles wrought ironwork and an iron upper stage. The decorative pebble paving beneath the verandah has been recently cleared and restored.
The interior has not been seen but is reported to retain original plasterwork in the hall and dining room, along with a simple staircase that has a scroll newel at the base.
