Description
The Old Rectory is a building constructed of brick in Flemish bond, featuring stone dressings, some of which are now painted. It has an asymmetrical design with three storeys and attics, comprising two and a half bays. The left bay is slightly set forward and gabled, with nine-course deep kneelers leading to stone copings that rise to a roll terminal. The porch features a similar coped gable above the main front entrance, which includes a chamfered basket arch and a pair of glazed doors with trefoil heads. An ogee painted stone cornice forms a sill band. The windows are twelve-paned sashes with crown glass, set in eared stone surrounds, each topped with a slight cornice. The eaves are chamfered brick. The right bay has a single light in a coped dormer. To the right, there are two parallel-roofed lower two-storey service wings, each with a two-light paned casement window beneath the eaves.
