Description

Gatewen Hall is a house, likely dating from the 18th century. It is built with roughcast render and has a hipped slate roof, with axial stacks positioned towards the rear. The house is three storeys high and has a three-window front. A glazed porch has been added to the centre, providing access, and is flanked by flush-framed sash windows with 12 panes on the ground floor. Above are sash windows with 16 and 12 panes respectively. A similar window arrangement is found on the left-hand return elevation, which features a full-height bow in the centre. The building is said to retain some original joinery, including panelled doors, windows shutters, and some plasterwork and chimney pieces.
