Almhouses

This building is a terrace of five single-storey almshouses, constructed with painted brick and topped with a slate roof. Each dwelling features two windows, which are 12-pane cast-iron casements with Gothick intersecting pointed heads, positioned on either side of the entrances. The doors are likely from 1979. The front wall has shared chimneys, with one chimney serving two units, although these have been altered. The rear elevations include extensions added in 1979.

Originally designed as a two-unit plan, the building has been extended with a new opening leading to the rear extension. There are blocked corner fireplaces, and the doors and fittings are probably from 1979.
