Former Agent's House at site of Brymbo Ironworks

The Former Agent's House at the site of Brymbo Ironworks is a two-storey house, one room deep, featuring three bays on its north-facing facade. It is constructed of dressed sandstone with plain stone lintels, a matching eaves cornice, and a string course. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The house has large casement windows that provide a clear view northwards towards the main ironworks site.

On the eastern end, there is a lean-to that dates back to 1812, which appears to have been a separate room with a fireplace, brick chimney, and a small window; this may have served as the counting house. Extensions at the western end have been demolished, and the wall has been patched where it previously opened into an adjacent structure. Large double doors have been added on the western side. The main block has been lengthened by the addition of a third bay, which matches the existing two bays, as indicated by a straight-joint in the front facade; this lengthening is already depicted in the 1812 section.

The interior is now entirely open at both ground and first floor levels, with the first floor removed at the western end. A large stone fireplace is located at the eastern end.
