Description

This is one of a pair of graves located in the graveyard to the east of All Saints Church. The grave commemorates William Smith of Allington, who died in 1830. It features a square-section plinth topped with a pyramidal cap, with panels on each face that have cusped heads. The grave is set on a raised platform of stones, which is positioned on a low plinth approximately 1.8 meters square. The grave is enclosed by cast-iron railings that have spike finials, along with urn finials at the corners and at intermediate points.
