Description
Bersham Colliery No 2 Headframe is a significant steel lattice girder structure. It features four near-vertical legs and two shear legs that provide bracing on the engine house side. The lattice girders are connected by rivetted plates. Notably, the two sheaves remain in place, along with braces positioned above them. Steps are provided on one of the shear legs, allowing access to a platform that surrounds the sheaves. The shaft of the headframe has been capped.
