Description
The Hearse House, situated at the Church of St Mary, is a rubble building with roughly squared quoins and a slate roof with red ridge tiles. It stands to the side of the street. The right-hand gabled return features an opening with a cambered timber lintel, behind which are boarded doors. Attached to the rear wall are rubble churchyard walls and a lych gate of traditional design. The building was inaccessible during a survey in 1995.
