Description
Cefn-coch farmhouse is a Grade II listed building featuring prominent timber framing, which has been largely restored, on its south and east elevations. The timber framing consists of four panels high with lattice timbering in the main gables. Between the two main south-facing gabled wings, there is a small dormer gable. Unrestored timber framing can be seen on the east face of the north wing, which stands on a limestone plinth. The north and west faces of the north wing are constructed of brickwork. At the rear of the main timber-framed range, there is a later stone range, and the west gable elevation of the main range is also built of limestone. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted that exposed ceiling beams and other timbering are present, along with a date of 1643 recorded on a bedroom panel.
