Description

The Churchyard Cross at Rug Chapel is a medieval cross situated on a chamfered stone base that is elevated on rough stone steps. The chamfered shaft of the cross stands approximately 1.8 meters tall. The cross head is not the original and likely originated from the east gable of the chapel, where a similar cross was depicted in a drawing from 1794.
